ACS800-104 inverter IGBT. And firing card blast
Drive was in operation, Kw, . Current, speed normal,. Suddenly trips on over current. After checking trend drive restarted, 315 KW motor with ACS800-104-440, 690 V AC input. 12 pulse. 10 years old drive.
After an hour trip s on short circuit, observed IGBT FS300R17KE3/AGDR-76C V phase blasted, DSU DC fuse blown,
No Kw, current peak, observed during or before the occurrence.
1 week earlier replaced 9 years PM kit for . Inverter
Observed out of 3 motor outgoing .cable runs one run cable Megger value at 1000 V variations 50-500 M ohms,
Disconnect the doubtful cable and restarted after replacing inverter module.
Module temp was normal as per record . trend.
Would like to know reason for IGBT failure and .no increase in current or KW.
