ACS 850 VFD Drive is tripping on "Over speed" as soon as the ON Command is given.
We have ACS 850 drive for APRON Feeder Feeding coal ont to the belt. Motor is of 4 pole and we restricted it to maximum 600 RPM looking in to the amount of coal feeding on to the belt.
This drive is tripping on Over speed some times as soon as we give a ON Command. Speed set point was varied from 5% to 25 % and still same phenomena observed.

Hi
the problem I guess you are checking on a system that was working previously ... did you make any changes?
Do you use braking to limit speed?

Hi
Can you attach the entire printout programming or DSP file? How was the data programmed in parameter group 20?

Do you have speed feedback measured by tacho or incremental encoder ? At the first glance it looks like loosen joint between motor and encoder. Or try to replace encoder.
