Codemeter service Error (Automation Builder Installation failed)
Dear all,
Automation Builder was working properly on my computer. but suddenly I faced a problem yesterday, I could not open it again and an error message appeared about the codemeter service fail. I tried too much to solve the problem but with no use! I uninstalled it and downloaded the 2.1 version but the same message still appearing during the installation process (attached). I wonder if anyone had faced such problem in the past? Could you please help me to solve it?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
I am assuming you are facing issue post installation.
To start with, verify if the Codemeter service is running. If not, try starting the service manually and then open AB2.1.

Hi
IMHO you need to re-install the complete suite of Automation Builder, because as you have already been told in the previous answers, there are no other attempts to do.
However, it is curious that previously the program worked on your computer: have you perhaps done some updates that could be in conflict with Codemeter?
The suggestion to consult your local ABB network remains, if a new installation does not work, the best action to try.

I have the same problem and I can't re-install it. You solved it? How?
This can happen when you install a new program. 3 times it happened for me. the fastest solution which always worked for me is uninstalling and reinstalling. but not only automation builder but also all apps related to ABB should be removed, like panel builders or even zenon, driver of programming cable and so on. CodeMeter also should completely remove. then reboot your system, go to program files and program data remove all remained files and folders related to CodMeter and ABB. then you are ready to install ABB. dont forget its ABB is installing CodMeter on your system, not you.
first install CP600eco from AB1.2.4.3465 then install full package from AutoBuilder2.2.3.6
