BC820 more than 200m
Hi,
My costumer wants to separate de redundant Controllers more than 200m using BC820, is it possible using F.O. converters for the RCU Control Link cable and OM4 fiber for the RCU Data Link?. The distance is 800m aprox.

No, it is not possible.
Extension from normal RCU Link copper cable is possible as described using the BC820 interface.
200 meters is the maximum distance for a BC820, this has to do because of the amount of information exchanged between the redundant controllers, as it is such a big amount it is not possible to go further this distance as the delay would be too big. We are using the speed of light (fiber optic) to transmit the data, unfortunatelly we can not go faster than this.
