Engineering WP count as Operator WP
The system is 800xA V6.0. If I start an Engineering WP I get a license error. The reason is that the Engineering WP count as Operator WP:
Any idea?

Yes it does. Despite the naming convention of Operator and Eng WP's, as far as the license server is concerned ( A.T.M. Subject to change who knows when ) a Workplace is a workplace. Opening a faceplate or an alarm list triggers the license check.

Hi Erik,
If you open the Engineering workplace and a operator workplace license is also counted it is most probably because you are looking at the Faceplate aspect or the Graphic Display aspect and this is beeing shown on the preview pane. Disable the preview pane to avoid the license of the operator workplace to be requested.
Once the license has occured the solution to reset it would be to close the workplace and open it again

Thank you for all replies, I'm still a little bit confused, the plain Eng.WP does not count at all:

But you are right, if I open (or preview) a graphic aspect or faceplate then it will count as Operator WP.
