Mount an AS500 harddisk in Windows or Linux
Hi,
Is there any application to read the files of a AS500 (HP-UX) harddisk without a running AS500 computer?
I was able to attach the disc to a computer with SCSI card, Windows 7, and even take a raw copy.
But, I was not able to find any system or tool to mount the filesystem inside.
Tried with Windows, some windows tools, Ubuntu, Debian, Solarix....

The Linux systems you listed use the EXT3 or 4 file system. HP-UX uses VxFS as the primary file system. You cannot run HP-UX on a VMware environment because it uses a different processor architecture.
You could be S.O.L. on this one. Basically, you probably need to boot an old Advant or HP-UX station and read the files off it using Kermit. ( Which is the recommended way if you are upgrading Advant Graphics to 800xA VB graphics )
Edit: You might be able to mount the VxFS disk onto a redhat Linux Distro .... https://community.hpe.com/t5/System-A... But the warning seems to be this could also go horribly wrong and you should mount the disk read only.

Microsoft doesn’t provide special backup tools for OneDrive and is not responsible for data loss on OneDrive according to the terms of use. Therefore, it’s up to you to protect your OneDrive files and perform OneDrive backup. To back up your OneDrive files and folders you can download files manually in the web interface and storing these files in a safe place. With this method, you don’t need to configure any software or use any tools other than a web browser. Open a web browser, go to https://products.office.com/en-us/onedrive/online-cloud-storage or https://onedrive.live.com/ and click Sign in. Enter your login for your Microsoft personal, work or education account. In this example, we log into OneDrive as michaelbose@nakivo.onmicrosoft.com. Hit Next to continue. Enter your password and hit Sign in. If you are using two-factor authentication, you need to enter an additional confirmation code to authenticate and use OneDrive.
But the best way is rely on ESXi backup solutions to protect your data and have no problems with extracting files.
