ACS 800 -0260kva-5(Ramp up and Down time not achive)
we have an ACS800-260 kva drive with 200 kw motor with 1400 RPM. and its max speed up to 2300RPM.
NORMALLY MOTOR ROTATES BY NEARLY 1400 RPM WHEN WE RAMP DOWN THE SPEED ITS NOT ACHIEVED WITHIN TIME PERIOD. DE ACCE TIME-1 SEC. ITS TAKE NEARLY 2.5 SEC. WHAT THE PARAMETER RELATED TO SET TO MINIMIZE THE TIME.

Hi
if I understand your question correctly, when you stop the drive the motor stops in 2.5 seconds, while you set 1 second, I think in parameter 22.03.
If the drive takes longer to stop the motor, it depends on how much kinetic energy accumulated during the rotation is dissipated by the drive capacitors. In fact, if the time is too short, the voltage on the capacitor bank would become excessive, and the drive would malfunction due to DC overvoltage.
To solve your problem, you should mount a braking chopper with adequate resistance or check if with a flow braking - parameter26.02 - you can improve the stop time
Hope this help you
