Multiple VIs Station Problem
Answers
Good morning,
did you set the correct ID in the setup tool of the second Vis station?
If the ID is not correct, you will get no connection.
You can not use IP adress off different networks.
All Freelance stations must be in same network section.
127.xxx..xxx..xxx is local .
Use the real network Adress of the PC for your project for Emulator and Vis1.

Hi,
The default 127.0.0.1 is intended for single computer demo systems. In your configuration VIS2 will not be able to see EMULATOR1 if VIS2 is on a different computer. Please use real IP addresses for multi computer systems. It is not necessary to have all stations in the same network (subnet), but it is a good idea to do so if exported variables (lateral communication) are used on a multic controller system, because then the IP broadcast mechanism is used.
As tr10091969 already mentioned, please check the ID setting of VIS2 on the VIS2 machine.
Best regards
Jürgen

Go to second PC which is not able to download.
Close if any digivis open there...
Open setting tool, from Start menu > All program > ABB > Freelance 2016 SP1 > Settings
Settings window will get open, Click on Freelance Operations > there in resource ID put 23 ( suspect it could be 22 as it is default ID)
Press ok and close setting window. Start DigiVis on this machine.
Go back to Engineering station machine and while online you should get version error for this HMI2 . that means it's connected and now ready for download...
Hope that helps...
