Group 17 override
Hi,I have a ACS550 VSD to be used on a exhaust fan and need it to run in fire mode.
I will select DI3 as the override activation.
Do I still need a signal on DI1 for the drive to run?
Answer this question Follow
this is depend on you have set the other parameters in your drive.
Generally, the RUN command is activate via DI1 signal, and DI3 could be used - as in your example - to activate one fixed speed in case of fire alarm.
IMHO you need always DI1 signal to give the RUN to your drive
Hope this help you
