Any winnings of disable unused I/O-channels?
Hello.
On several bigger control systems I have noticed that disabling unused I/O-Channels Is rarely done.
Is there any performance profit by doing It?
Any difference for Profibus connected I/Os and I/Os on the module bus?

Hi,
There is a known issue in xA 6.0.

Also
If the value is set to any value other than None, I/O copying is started even if there are no I/O connections to the applications in the controller. In this state, input values are automatically shown in online hardware editors.
it is very important to set the value to "None" to avoid a high CPU load in the controller.
