The error indicate that one or more files below \OperateITTemp is not accessible to the workplace process. I am not 100% convinced that this is the reason for the hang.
I know there is still some log spamming code left in the workplace as similar output has been seen output by healthy running workplaces. You could prove the theory by checking file permission on the file listed; it shall have "Full control" and more tick marks enabled for IndustrialITAdmin and IndustrialITUser groups.

If not, please re-run Configuration Wizard --> System Software User Settings once more to apply the service account; the temp folder permission should be corrected then. Verify that the file permission was corrected. In severe cases, the file is owned by a non-existent user and you may have to overtake file ownership before running the procedure in the config wizard.
If the file was found as in the image I posted, you likely saw log spamming and the real problem is something else...
If there is a true freeze, the workplace watchdog should detect this in ~30 seconds and light up a red square around the frozen window and display a small icon in the upper right corner of monitor 1. Click the icon, then Create Report, collect and compress the associated .dmp, .log and .png files at C:\ProgramData\ABB\Process Portal A\Dump\Hang, then make the files available to your regional ABB support team. Past occurrences should also be listed in the AfwWorkplaceWatchDog_nodename.log in the same folder. This file could be of interest for the support team as well.
