freelance2000 upgrade from 6.1 to 9.2
Hi Stefan Stromqvist
My colleague is trying to upgrade freelance2000 from 6.1 to 9.2 firmware on Win XP, he succeeded to upgrade, but the system did not work in redundancy option, alert message telling that the redundancy communication module needs to be upgraded also to 9.2. When he tried to upgrade, he couldn't find the original project file which to be imported in the project tree,, how to solve this issue,,!!? or if possible to avail for us this project file,,!!?
Thanks in advance
Khalid

Greetings,
First you may try to export your Freelance 6.2 project from Control Builder and then import it in Freelance 9.2
Upgrade will be done in automaticly, just you will also need to move some files with archives between computers to keep continuity of trends/logs/etc.
By the way after software upgrade please dont forget to AC800 Firmware update.
Hope it hepls you.

oh I see.. can you refer to me anyone else..!!?

Unfortunately, no.
I suggest searching for Freelance know-how here on the forum, or fall back on the regular product support via contacting your regional ABB support center.
