ACS880 starting and stopping remote/local
I am using ACS880 vfd.
If I am controlling the motor in local mode I can start and stop the motor normally and without any problems.
If I am controlling the motor in remote mode - when I give the stop signal it goes to 0.0% torque but I have a constant current of 65 A (about 30% of nominal value) and I need to restart the drive and set it in local mode to start up again. I get start inhibited if I have it still in remote control.
Can anyone please comment?
Thanks in advance,
Bjarni.

Hi
to give you a correct suggestion, you must let us how you have realized the remote control.
Do you have a 0-10 V as speed input?
Or you have different set the speed reference?
Could you explain how you have set the parameter groups 12 - 20 - 22?
To make us understand better, always write the model / size of your drive
If you give us more information, we can help you better

How is the remote control of your system?
Is it a hard wiring or fieldbus cable?
Your problem may have been caused by the failure to send a speed reference signal.
