ACS880 EFB speed reference issue
Dear All,
I am controlling ACS880 drives using its embedded fieldbus port.
there is a problem with the speed reference, sometimes (once a week) when i make a slight change( +- 50) the drives don't apply the change although the speed reference changes on the vfd control panel, until i make major change.
Did anyone face similar issue?

Hi,
Whenever process feedback enters the dead band, a delay timer starts. If the feedback remains within the dead band longer than the delay , the PID controller output is frozen. Normal operation resumes after the feedback value leaves the dead band. So check your dead band.
