Siemens PLC and ABB I/O modules CI830
I'm trying to set communication between Siemens PLC and ABB I/O modules. I have following configuration:
- SIEMENS PLC CPU 315-2DP
- ABB communication module CI830 SW*1.4
- one digital input module DI810
- one digital output module DO810
I have downloaded from internet 1 GSD files for CI830 module. Version SW*1.4. I have imported it to Simatic manager HW library. After I define CPU in hardware with profibus address 2, I add S800/CI830 to the profibus with address 3 (this is also set on module itself). Finaly those two IO module are added to configuration. When I download this configuration to the PLC, on both IO modules Fault lamp is ON, while on CI830 power lamp is ON, and both Tx and Rx are steady yellow. I was trying to set different parameter data for each IO module, but without any result. Can you tell me maybe , if there is anything else that I can try, maybe different GSD file or there is something that I missed.
The connection is ok at the profibus

Greetings,
Did you connect the +24V DC to L1+ and L2+ terminals?
Also GND for L1- and L2-?
Hope it helps you.
