Hi,
You have provided a very limited information of your application, in order to receive a precise answer.
ACS550 gives a lot of possibilities to define start/stop process, you have to define what are your needs.
What do you mean to start in auto, after power shutdown? Which start command you are using, reference source and so on? Is the start command continuously presented during power off? Do you have a rotating motor when power on again? Do you have a fault generated from drive during shut-off/on?
As a recommendation, you should look in the following parameters:
10.01 = may be 1 - should select the correct configuration for ext command (not pulse if you have continuous start signal during power-off/on cycle)
16.01 = 0 (depends on your connection diagram)
16.06 = 7 = On (always use remote commands for control the drive, not control panel)
16.08 = 0
21.01 = auto

Hi
in addition to the excellent explanation of kstoilov, if you want your drive to restart on its own after a network failure, you must be absolutely certain that this operation is performed in absolute safety. This means that you will have to have interlocks that make for an operator who has to access the moving parts, absolutely sure every operation.
