Display link buttons below Application Bar in 800xA 6.0 workplace
Hallo experts,
I know that I can put display link buttons as a fixed display into an application bar.
But is it possible to have display link buttons in application bar in a row beneath the alarm line? Just like an Application Bar Shortcuts, but with regular Aspect View buttons instead of these small icons, operators don't like them... These buttons should not be a part of presented Graphic Display, because one display could be presented at different workplaces and have different links. So the links should be defined at workplace level, not in the display.
I made a workaround - created a Graphic Display, containing my Aspect View Buttons row as well as Aspect Wrappers with Alarm Band, Alarm Line, etc., and used it as a single fixed display in the Application Bar. It looks and works as expected but has one fundamental drawback - workplace equipped with such an Application Bar doesn't play alarm sounds. (???)
I also tried to add another pane to the display Panel Layout but didn't succeed.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve my problem?
Thank you

I will answer myself. The workaround is working now, my modified Application Bar didn't contain the Audible Alarm Toolbar, which is necessary for alarm sounds to be played. Manual 3BDS011222-600 B: The Audible Alarms Toolbar must be included in the workplace toolbar (such as the Application Bar) for the Audible Alarm function to work properly.
