DC800 "oninhibit" problem
good day,
i am currently working on a DCS800 (firmware ver 3.7)
my problem is that i could not start commissioning because of the "ONINHIBIT" status of the drive. both the OFF2 and OFF3 are on normal state.
i would appreciate any information to eliminate present status and have a "RDYON"
thank you

Hi,
You should read the Firmware manual for DCS800 - that is the first step for commissioning:
If the is a brand new drive, then look the following parameters:
- 10.08 = DI4 = off2 command = NC : 1 = no stop command / 0 = stop command active
- 10.09 = DI5 = emergency stop command = NC : 1 = no E stop command / 0 = stop E command active
So, you have to connect +24VDC to these inputs.
Or select 0= not used to 10.08 and 10.09. Or to find how to use the control word.
Be careful, NOT USED is for commissioning only, you have to ensure then that you have a correct stop command, at least for off2 command.

Hi,
Here is one example of control signals connections from the HW manual for DCS800. Look -X6 for DI. There are different typical diagrams, according to your specific application.
You should ensure the requested control signals are connected.
I suppose there is no fieldbus control, but even in this case you should supervise at least input contactor.
