ACS800 drive change the RDCU02c control card
dear all,
we have ACS800 drive with RDCU-02C control board unfortunately the control board was damaged and not working so we replaced it by new one but without software loaded so i did the below steps:
1- installed the RDCU-02C as per the old one and same in drawing of machine.
2-going to 16.03 pass code and change it from 0 to 564 to be able to see the 112 parameter group
3- going to 112.22 and tried to select the old drive model which before is ( SR 0440-5) but i couldn't find it.
4- the damage rdcu02c card software loaded is ASXR7360 but the new one software loaded is AS7R7365.
5- i have another 200 hp drive can i transfer rdcu0c software from it to the new card via keypad
please your answer will be highly appreciated
hanks

Hi,
You can't transfer the firmware between drives with the control panel.
There is a special tool to load the firmware to the drive, but even in this case I think you need to have the needed firmware on file
If I remember right, you can't upload the firmware.
Better is to contact ABB or who delivered the new RDCU board - always when you order the spare module, the supplier should ask you which firmware to load in it, in the factory.

Hi
IMHO to charge the old version ASXR7360 in your new RDCU-02 card, you need the correct package to use via Drive Window tool.
Generally this feature is made from Service ABB technician, but if you have access to ABB library may be you can do it byself.
The access to ABB library is not so easy and probably the best suggestion that I can give you is to contact your ABB local dealer
Hope this help you
