Recurring AF100 Bus-error
We have a AC450 running with three AF100 buses.
The AF100 bus running with number 1 is generating continues bus faults.
If I check the System message log the error is related to multiple devices (station number conflict)
I have checked all stations in the node and there are no conflicts. I have also been out in field checking for faults at bus no 1 but can't see any errors.
I would be glad for any suggestions how to continue fault trace the error.

You cant see any conflicts but the system can; for now you have to believe what you see until you know better.
its possible a bus device has a fault and masquerading as another address, or creating havoc with the 1's and 0's on the bus.
Best to swop out a station at a time and see if the messages stop. Also include the CI card and Carrier card at the 450 as a possible culprit.

The problem was solved.
We checked a termination that seemed to be in place but actually wasn't.
