Freelance OPC server can not be loaded in AC700F
Hi,
I'd like to read/write data from the Freelance system (Freelance V9.2 SP2, AC700F) to external software. Engineering PC and VIS are on the same computer with different RID.
I have configured an OPC server and OPC tunnel in 'Configure' window, and configured an OPC gateway under the project tree in CBF, then added the gateway to the hardware structure and configured the network address (RID the same as OPC server, IP address same as Engineering PC and VIS).
Each step is the same as the manual and everything looks fine.
But when I downloaded the station, both OS3 and OPC gateway have 'version error'. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

Hello,
both of the nodes with "Version Error",OS3 and OPC GWY, need to be downloaded, not only the AC 700F.
But before doing that, you need to do a Plausibility Check of the whole project, because your picture shows that the OS3 node itself and the OPC GWY node are unchecked.
Usually, after doing changes in a project you should Plausibility Check the complete project (select the top most node and click on the checkmark button). Then the P-Tree will show you with Arrows, which nodes need to be downloaded.
You start the download with the controller level, then the OS level and last the GWY level. If its the first time a node is downloaded chose the "Download Whole Station". For subsequent downloads Load Changed Objects is sufficient.
Hope that helps
