Profibus Slave: Communitcation Error?
I'd integrated a Profibus valve in Control Builder M (CBM Professional, Version 5.1.0/1), converting .gsd file in .hwd element.
After download, I don't have any warning or error on CI854 or slave instance being showed in CBM.
In graphic displays, I can operate this valve normally (System 800xA version 5.1.0/REV A).
My doubt is: always that I operate this valve, there're error messages on CI854 hardware event list in 800xA (attached) and in controller log (attached):
E 2018-10-01 18:46:10.839 On Unit= 1.2 HWError N170 0000 See HWTree Error 16#00000001 16#00000000 E 2018-10-01 18:46:10.839 On Unit= 1.2.0 HWError N170 0000 See HWTree Error 16#00000001 16#00000000 E 2018-10-01 18:46:10.840 On Unit= 1.2 HWError N170 0000 See HWTree Error 16#00020001 16#00000008
Are there any Profibus communication problem with my network? The controller and CIs remains in fault state and then normalize by themselves once/twice a month - this behavior is under investigation. Is there any correlation?
Thank you for attention.
when there is a parameter change like Baud rate change this may occur for short time. This occurs when the master does not see any traffic in the network when it first enters into the network or when the token is missed.
Remedy : If it remains, the PROFIBUS connection and slave addresses must be checked.

Here this is a fatal error due to TTO on primary unit and the CI854 stops the normal operation. If the CI854A is used redundant, this error leads to a redundancy switchover
The lower layer of the PROFIBUS cannot access the medium. Check the connection of the CI854 (cable, connectors). This can also be a hardware failure on the CI854 itself.
You can use the ErrorCodeExtract tool to understand the error codes.
Do you observe I/Os getting hanged or freezed?
If yes, refer these bulletins, if matching the criteria:
1. 3BSE047421D0077 (800xACON-OL-5023-011) ALERT - AC 800M Controller Firmware 5.0.x/x and 5.1.0/0, PROFIBUS I/O might Temporary Freeze when using Time Critical Task
