Control network split 800xa 5.1 with one extra connectivity server
Hi we are planning to split a 800xa 5.1 control network, by adding one extra connectivity server pair.
We got a question how to check if all opc data subscriptions and AE subscriptions are working fine after we moved some of AC800 controllers to new connectivity server pair. Thanking in advance

Voted best answer
1.Create network area and move the AC800M Controller with new IP address as per the control network
2. Enable TCP/IP forwarding in the newly added CS pair so that Controllers in the new area shall be listed in RNRP for monitoring 3. Open OPC server for AC800M in Connectivity server to check OPC DA & AE status which shall be in yellow smiley 4.In PPA, Service structure check DA & AE status
There is no requirement to change IP addresses, and I strongly recommend you do **NOT** do this. You can create all sorts of routing and RNRP problems for no reason.
You don't really need to change anything in the control project at all. Just Disconnect an application in the old Connectivity Server Pair and Connect it in the New Connectivity Server pair. If you have a smiley face, everything is OK.
