ACS550 PROFIBUS COMMUNICATION STOP COMMAND REACTION IN MOTOR
In ACS550 vfd i am having a issue. Here under i am describing the problem.
I have programmed in ACS550 vfd start command is "DC magnetization" and stop command is "Ramp". So according to programming it should stop in Ramp mode in Profibus communication selection. From DCS, Start command is given by the code 1151 and stop command is given by the code 1150. From DCS when stop command is given to drive then drive is not stopping in "Ramp" mode, it is stopping by "Cost to stop" mode. But in another selection like for "UP-DOWN" command mode this motor is stopping by "Ramp" mode. Only in Profibus communication it is happening. This things should not happen according to programming i have done. Now it is very serious things in VFD that inspite of having "Ramp" mode it is stopping in "Cost to stop" mode. For better clarification i have attached here one backup of VFD. Please give some suggestion so that i can stop the VFD in "Ramp" mode from Profibus selection.
Thank to all.
the problem is not inside the drive, but inside the CW that you send via ProfiBus.
Try to send the value 1143 in CW and the drive will be stop in ramp mode. The value 1150 means "inertia stop".
For more info, you need to examine the single value - bit - of the CW composition
Hope this help you
