Out of three PEC controllers one of them occasionally (once or twice per year) loses its application code. This plc happens to be the one with communication issue which was resolved previously.
The controller application gets completely whipped out and an application download is required to get it up and running again. This is a very serious issue as it may cause equipment and/or product damage.
Thinking that the root cause might be a power interruption, inspected the 24vdc wiring and also replaced the controller around 6 month ago.
The latest occurrence was yesterday noon. Please see attached log file.

Is the power supply redundant and is the backup battery properly connected and in good condition ?
The log you provided is two weeks old. There's no data from "yesterday" (unless the date setting in your system is totally wrong ) and no indication that the PLC has crashed / stopped / restarted etc. This implies the backup battery is completely dead.

Hi,
You mentioned "Thinking that the root cause might be a power interruption, inspected the 24vdc wiring and also replaced the controller around 6 month ago".
The problem could be a faulty 24 VDC power supply. Have you tried replacing those? As I understood you just checked the wiring and replaced the controller ...
