Alarm Syncronization in aspect and conectividty redundant server 800XA 5.1
Why some times, alarms are not syncronized in one redundant aspect and conectivity server,
when the primary fail the alarms bands appears with red X .
and it take a long time to be in sync mode. and the X dissapear, it is suposed that if primary server fail, secondary assume all the services.
someone have experience with this matter.
is it normal?

Red crosses in alarm band or red border in alarm list indicate no connection with alarm manager.
Normally, a failover shall take few seconds or less.
A prolonged failover may indicate overload or that all alarm managers have failed and is restarting.
Have you checked the System Event list? What is reported during a failover?
How long does a failover take if you intentionally induce it by disabling one or the other of the alarm manager?
What are the storage parameters (number of alarms in main storage, separation of system vs process categories)?
Please share some more details, or ask your regional ABB support center for help.
