DC overvoltage on stop command.
dear sir
i have ACS 850-094A-05 VFD on 45 kW motor on rewinder application including DBR 27 ohm 2.5 KW, usually when stop command is given vfd shows dc overvoltage fault time to time.
parameters- group 47-01 VOLTAGE CONTROL -DISABLE
48-01 Bc enable - ENABLE
-02 BC RUN TIME ENABLE- RUNNING
-03 BC THERM TIME CONST-20 SEC
-04 BC POWER MAX CNT -2.5 KW
-05 R BR - 27 OHM
-06 BR TEMP FAULT TIME - 105%
-07 BR TEMP ALARMLIM -95%

Hi
to better understand your question:
this is a new application or you have before developed it without problem?
Any changes during last period?
The calculation of the value in kW of the braking resistor has been done correctly according to the inertia values and the time required to stop the load?
ACS850 with resistor and chopper require of course to set parameters group 47 - 48 as you wrote.
I suggest you to activate in Drive Studio the monitor to analyze the values of DC voltage during the stop command, IMHO you probably need to increase the power of the braking resistor.
Hope this help you
