800xA 5.1 fp4: Does the "AC800m Status Monitoring" extension cause strain on Connectivity servers?
The "AC800m Status Monitoring" extension provides "Hardware Status And Tag Navigation" aspects that display hardware status information as well as live values of IO channels.
Presumably, these aspects will only read this information when they are opened by a user, right? So installation and use of this extension should cause no significant increase in load on connectivity servers or on the 800xA system in general?

Its basically a bunch of display links. So no, it doesn't load the CS.
It takes some time to actually create the displays during the upload process, and this does take a bit of extra CPU, but nothing the system should not be able to handle.
