RAM of AC 900F
Can someone please explain why the AC900F (8 MB) has lower RAM then the AC800F (16 MB).
I found this questions on our YouTube channel. The author had to switch from AC800F to AC900F and got Problem with PRAM an RAM SIZE, the AC800F had no Problems. As far as I know nearly all real applications that are in AC 800F also fit into new AC 900F,

The AC 800F is available with 2 controllers. PM 802F (4 MB) and PM 803F (16 MB). The first AC 900F that was release had a controller called PM 902F (8MB). As the number "902" indicates it was the successor of the PM802F (which went into Classic and is obsolete now) and had double memory compared to it. The next AC 900F controller was the PM 901F (3MB) for the AC 900F Lite.
The replacement for the PM 803F (which is still active) is yet to come with Freelance 2019. It is the PM 904F and it will also feature 16 MB.
As you can see in below table, the PM902F cannot replace PM803F in two areas (the red dots), the number of fieldbus slots and the application memory.
