800xA PLC Connect
Hello,
I have 7 AC500 PLCs and connecting them to 800xA using PLC connect. If connectivity servers lose connection to one of controllers, update time of tags gets really slow. How can i solve this problem?
Thanks in advance

Well basically, losing one PLC should not slow down connections to other PLCs. But as Stefan says, theres not enough detail to make any sort of diagnosis. PLC connect is just a software "package" with many possible features. You need to tell us about how your PLCs are actually connected to the Connectivity Servers
- Are you using OPC ? Modbus ?
- How Many Control Networks ?
- How Many OPC Servers
- What type of CPU's, size of application, no of tags etc ?
- Redundant Connectivity servers ?
- Redundant Networks ?
- Define "slow". A few extra seconds or totally unusable ?
This behavior might need some investigation. I would suggest to raise a support case by contacting your Regional Support Center.
You can include snapshots of the configurations done for PLC Connect (Control Structure and Service Structure), and also PLC Connect logs from connectivity servers (path:- C:\OperateITDataXXX\AdsServer\Service Group Data).

Don’t know PLCC internals, but a missing ”slave” could slow down a polling ”master”. Suggest filing a support case unless you get your answer here.
