Bulk Data Manager showing wrong digits after decimal separator
Dear all,
I´m using a BDM to check FF OUT SCALE and XD SCALE - Min and Max Ranges. I have realized that on some tags the number of digits after decimal separator is wrong, comparing the same signal on 800xA aspect it is possible to see value rounded according to expected, but on BDM the value is showed completely without rounding. Anyone could explain the possible reasons for this ? Check images below

Hello,
To me it looks like Control Connection aspect is doing some calculations of the values and sharing it with Bulk Data Manager (BDM). That is the reason BDM is showing more precise value.
BDM actually does not do any alteration while you are extracting the objects. It just reads.
Please refer attached screenshot. You can see that in this case, Control Connection aspect is not rounding the value that is present in Control Builder M.
I have had a F2F discussion with BDM team and I shall let you know their answer. Till then you can enjoy the more accurate and precise values in BDM. ;)
Hope this helps. :)
