Trends Causing Workplace to Crash
Currently we are having an issue that is crashing the workplace. When a trend is open, it appears to work just fine but when I try to go back even just a couple of months to look at data, the workplace crashes and closes. This has happened on multiple nodes so it is not confined to just one computer. Any suggestions or ideas before I open a support case?

Is only Operator Workplace crashing or all the workplaces?
Which system version is used?
Try enabling the option 'Auto-scroll on scroll Position' in the used Trend Templates. You can find this at path: 'Library Structure -> Trend Templates.
When you try to go a couple of months back for a trend display, what is the CPU load for the AfwWorkplaceApplication.exe process?
Open the Configuration Wizard on the node and double-click the icon Diagnostics with Alt+Shift button pressed at the same time. At the new window check the boxes 'Enable Dump on Exception' and 'Full Dump (recommended)', click Next and Finish. If the workplace crashes the next time a dump file will be created and can be found at C:\OperateITTemp\Dump. Also, at the folder C:\OperateITTemp\Log also some log files can be found that could help in analysis, if you are raising a support case.
