30.17 Maximum Current
Dear Sir,
How does ACS880-37 VFD act when the current exceeds the Maximum current defined the 30.17 Parameter, I mean lets say the drive was running on 1500 rpm and the load changened in such a way that caused the motor current to increase, how would the drive behave in similar situation.

Hi,
30.17 is a current limiter parameter.
If the load current reach this limit, the drive will automatically limit/decrease the output speed reference in order to keep the motor current less or equal to this setting.

generally, when the current limit is reached, the drive limited the speed and torque to reduce the current, but these are general definitions and it's not possible have the sure about the case that you have descripted without the complete set of parameters
