Configuration of AC700F (PM783F) with Freelance 2016
Hi,
I'm trying to configure PM783F controller on Freelance 2016, after setting the IP address when.
I'm in commissioning mode, while loading the program into Freelance Operations, It says, Load not possible at present, Reason: There is no TCP/IP Connection.
What can be the possible reason?
I'll be highly grateful if someone can brief the steps to download program in controller.
Many thanks.

Hello,
have a look at the controller in the P-Tree in Freelance Engineering in comissioning mode. Does it say "No connection" or does it say something different.
Ping the IP address of the AC 700F from the engineering PC. Do you get a reply or do you get timeouts? If timeouts, check the network cabling and check the subnet mask of the TCP/IP configuration of your windows IP and of the AC 700F. If you have changed the subnet away from 172.16.1.xx you need to adjust the subnet mask also.
If the ping gets an answer, check that you have configured the correct IP address for the controller in the network configuration in Freelance Engineering. Set the Resource ID of the controller to the last part of the IP address the controller has. For example if the IP of the AC 700F is 172.16.1.5 then set the Resource ID to 5 and make sure, that the Resource IDs in the network configuration are unique among all resources.
