How can I have RNRP redundancy on PM891 again?
We had a crash CPU and redundant CPU are not working anymore.
I looked at the configuration and I think the RNRP delfault network ID erased our IP setting, but I don't know what was settings before.
I would like an advice on this.
So, we have 2 CPU PM891 on redundant mode.
In attach files,there are all settings.
In CBM / hardware AC 800M / 0 U(L) PM891
¤Settings
Routing method rnrp
RNRP Default network ID 172.16.0.0

LatchedErrorsAnd Warnings 16#671E0000 Warning on primary unit, Warning on backup unit, Error on backup unit, RPB on Backup, RPA on Backup, Battery Low on Backup, RPA, RPB
LatchedExtendedStatus 16#C0000003 Backup CPU stopped, Switchover occured, Redundant mode enabled, Unit B acts primary
-> 1 Ethernet
IP address 172.16.0.1
IP subnet mask 255.255.252.0

-> 2 Ethernet
IP address 172.16.0.0
IP subnet mask 255.255.252.0

What do you think?
What can I do to have redundant mode again?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm not sure if I got the complete picture, but could advise the following:
- RPA, RPB... warnings - means there is missing one of power supply supervision +24V on the CPU's. You have L+ terminal and two supervision terminals +24V on power supply connector. In case you have a redundant power supply, both power supplies should be switched on and you have to measure +24V on both terminals SA & SB for both CPU's (in addition to L+ terminal). If single power supply unit, you need to have a bridge between SA & SB terminals and also measure +24VDC there.
That is nothing here regarding RNRP
- Battery low signal on backup CPU - you have to take care for that to prevent loose of application during power failure
- in case of redundant control network, if Eth1 (CN1) = 172.16.0.1, then most probably Eth2 (CN2) = 172.17.0.1. Also for Eth2 you have to select "Ënable Ethernet Channel" = true. Subnet mask for both Eth = 255.255.252.0
- you can use also a black cable and IP Config tool to check/set IP address of primary and backup CPU. You have to do that by connecting a cable only to the primary CPU ! If you are doing modifications here, then you have to do the same after that in CBM. CN2 - always from CBM

As already stated
> 1 Ethernet
IP address 172.16.0.1
IP subnet mask 255.255.252.0
-> 2 Ethernet
IP address 172.16.0.0
IP subnet mask 255.255.252.0
Is not a valid redundant configuration.
Look at the user guide examples for valid configuration, eg:
172.16.80.151/22
172.17.80.151/22
Remember to activate ”Use default rule” for backup interface - this *MUST* be done via IPConfig.exe over serial cable.
A crash should not change any parameter - just download again. A change of IP of enablement of Eth2 *NEED* to be followed up with a short controller reset..
