PDR11-FBP.150 TERMINATING RESISTOR 150OHM USE
I am using 74qty umc100 for a project . for communication i use cdp13,cdp-16,pdq22,pdx11.
Do i need to use repeater and pdr11-fbp.150 terminating resistor 150ohm .

Why you have opened next topic for the same thing? If you dont´t want to to accept any advice you can study all yourself:
1. Regarding profibus standard definition (see attached document profibus.pdf) - this document contains definitions regarding standard itself - number of devices on the segment, segment termination, when is necessary to use repeaters, infrastructure for communication. Take into account that every Profibus solution vendor has "own" recommendations (limitation for devices on the segment, communication, termination and so on)
2. Regarding ABB solution for UMC100 you can check available documents on ABB websites:
Go to section Catalogue and open document stored here. Go to page 28 where is overview regarding your solution.
If will be PDQ22 last device on the segment you will have to use terminator, if will connection continue to next device than termination will be done on the last segment device.
Your case (only model how you can design solution) - you will need solution with 2 Profibus communication linka - first link should have 2 segments interconnected via repeater (max. 30+30 devices), second link with one segment (no repeater) for 14 devices. Both communication links need termínation at the end of the communication link.
Communication links have to be terminated also at the beginning, but this is normally provided inside Profibus communication gateway / module / card.
