800xA - WinCC OPC servers integration
I am trying to integrate data from Siemens WinCC OPC server into my ABB 800xA system.
On WinCC machine I have got standard OPC server (DCOM configured properly, I have got ability to see live data via Marticon Explorer). From 800xA point of view I am trying to do it by Generic OPC Server Network. I am following documentation 3BDS011222-510_A_en_System_800xA_5.1_Configuration.pdf chapter "Connecting DA Connectivity". I have done all configuration regarding mentioned documentation and I have a problem when I want to enable OPCDA Provider in Service Structure. Service is not starting. State of service is Undefinde and Status 0x800706ba.
Abybody knows how to fix this problem?
What is more I am able to Upload structure of this non-ABB OPC server but I am not able to see live data in 800xA Control Connection.

I have used OPC Analyzer from OPC Foundation and test was ok (means no errors). After tests I turned off Analyzer and I was able to make a connection between server and get live data. We may close this question.
Thanks to Bartlomiej Walowski and Radomir Pistek who helped the most.
Try this if it works:
Set the DCOM Settings in the "Idendity" tab for the third party OPC Server once to "Interactive User", and login yourself directy on to the OPC Server Node with the required user account "800xAService" locally. This creates the subfolder "800xAService" under "C:\Documents and Settings". Then log out, and change the idendity to "This user" with "800xAService"
Try to use "test" tools to see whether is problem on 800xA setting side:
Note that WinCC OPC server is not running as a windows service but as an application with the administrative user ( eg: admin )that is used to start WinCC server. As a first level , try adding the WinCC "admin" user in 800xA node and "800xA Service" user in WinCC machine. If its Windows XP, do not forget to check the option "Use simple file sharing" under "folder options".
Your OPC server WinCC, How many OPC client connections support? Try closing all other clients and then check service status. Like in AC800M, if you exceed the number of OPC clients connecition a new one will not connect.
Also, change DATA TYPE of your properties (as in nagaraju velpuri document, page 4) sometimes a wrong data type prevents comunication.
Actually your WinCC server is not registeted in system 800xA connectivity server, the easyiest way is installed winCC software in 800xA connectivity machine and then un installe and the leave the registeries registered.
As per my experience this always work and save lot of time in troubleshooting.
