Redundant ModBus TCP on AC900F
We are trying to connect an AC900F CPU with an AC800M-HI CPU (with CI867) via a ModBus TCP connection with some troubles. All items must be in a redundant configuration (F-CPU, M-CPU, connection).
Our questions are:
1) It is possible this configuration ?
2) Which connection wiring is suggested?

Answer to your query first,
1) Never tried but should be possible, as AC 900FR can act as modbus TCP master/Slave.
2) As it is modbus TCP just need to connect ethernet cables to switches from both side controllers.
Few things to be noted,
In freelance controller full redundancy works means, As everything(ethernet ports) available on AC 900F controller onboard and incase of redundancy (AC 900FR) modbus TCP/IP ports act as redundant. where as in M Controller it is possible that only controller can be redundant and use single communication module. Hence at AC 800MHI side you need to use redundant CI867. So should be possible to get both controller communicated over modbustcpip
