There exists no such verision of 800xA/Process Portal A.
From memory, I recollect the following versions where we have had larger number of installations with:
1.1
2.1
2.1/1
2.1/2
2.1/2 SP1 SP2
3.1 SP1 SP2 SP3
4.0
4.0 SP1 (aka 4.1)
5.0
5.0 SP1
5.0 SP2
5.1
5.1 RevA, B, C, D, FP1, FP2, FP3, FP4, FP4RevD
6.0
The Installation Manual describes the correct procedure. Be sure to stay on correct OS and IE version. 3BUA000500 (Third Party Software) dictates what is appropriate for each version.
If version is 2.1/2 you must get Windows 2000 Professional installed with some older IE version. I also believe you must load DirectX and some other 3rd party SW. After all prerequisites, then load PPA and additional system extensions, then "Add client" in Config Wizard of any existing server.
Personally, I would attempt to clone an existing client if hardware is same. Cloning is not officially supported, but done carefully it saves a LOT of time + makes perfect replicas of something you know work properly.
Installing from scratch opens up for new mistakes...
Cloning in short: disconnect target from network, clone from source using drive imaging tool, change hostname & IP address, clean 800xA system key from registry, clean 800xA folders from harddisk, reconnect to network, add to domain, add to 800xA system as new client... there are threads on AKS giving more detail on this.
