RTA Board Control, 800xA 5.0 SP2, PU410, AC 400 connect
I am getting "RTA server Connection timeout" message when trying to connect RTA board through RTA board control. getting the same message when i try to stop the RTA board through RTA board control. All other things are working fine like, I could see the nodes in AC 400 CS communication, I could connect the RTA through Online builder.
I am using PU410, 800xA5.0 SP2, 800xA for advant master 5.0.0SP2 RTA unit PU410 Support 5.0.2/1, 800xA for Advant Master 5.0.0 SP2 RU4
I assume you've checked the correct RTA's AC400 CS Comm page and verified that the PU410 is visible on the RNRP Monitor?
Can you read version info, IP config and CPU Load from the PU410 via the "C:\Program Files\ABB Industrial IT\Operate IT\AC 400 Connect\RTADriver\ManagementTool\Management Tool.exe"?
It could be time to restart the PU410.
The original firmware 220.127.116.11 had a 49-day bug causing the box to reset every 49th day. Have you upgraded to the corrected firmware (18.104.22.168) - http://search.abb.com/library/Download.aspx?DocumentID=3BSE056809R1001&Lang
The Trace/Debug button could sometimes give additional information, but it is very hard to decode because the onboard clock is not synchronized and quite some trace messages have been left active since manufacturing, some messages look bad but have no impact on stability/performance.
If you email me the complete output I will take a look.
Note: you should repeatedly press Get trace/dbg until the output text becomes black (the picture above show blue). Black means "All diagnostics collected, PU410 buffer is empty". Remember to copy the output to notepad.exe before closing the Management Tool since reading diagnostics also erases/clears it from the PU410 unit.
