Grey Modules and white Modules
I need following information
(i). What is the difference between Grey Module and White Module technically for S800IO and Freelance 900F?
(II) Can we mix-up the Grey Module and white Module in a single node(S800 IO cluster)?
(III) Can we mix-up the Grey Module PM902F, with white CI930 or vice - versa ?
(IV) if we do upgradation in future where existing white S800IO modules are available, and we replace the controller with Grey AC900F Module, or we add new grey cards with existing white cards, will it create any diffculty in such upgradation.

technically, from a functional point of view, grey and white moduls are the same.
The difference is, that white moduls come with a hardware license which is required by 800xA from SV6 on. That makes for the price difference between grey and white moduls.
Freelance will not check the the 800xA hardware license, so you are free to use white and grey S800 moduls below a Freelance controller. Even if you put 800xA on top of a Freelance controller you can continue to use the grey moduls without a change. That is fair, as you can not make use of extended functionality (like asset management for example) with S800 below a Freelance controller.
If you used S800 grey moduls with a compact controller AC 800M and later put 800xA on top, you will need to buy the missing hardware licenses for the grey moduls. Here you can make of the extended functionality and that motivates the additional price for the hardware licenses.
Hope that helps
As sunil.lalan wrote above there is no technical differences between grey and white modules. For Essential Automation products, which include Freelance, there is no difference at all. The main difference is for system 800xA - the white modules are to be used with it, but grey mustn't (it's a licensing issue). So for Your Freelance simply use grey modules and controllers just as You used white, because this are the same modules and controllers.
Hope this helps,
