What is the state of "log configuration" aspect of the parental object in the object type structure?
Find dedicated object in the object type structure and ensure the log configuration is "Enabled".
Then right-click "Log configuration" and select "Details...". On the "Aspect Info" tab add "Auto-instantinate aspect" to the existing Aspect Keys ("Add..." button).
After that all new created object will automatically obtain enabled "log configuration".
Describe how you add the object and Log Configuration aspect.
Normally, you need to add a Log Configuration aspect manually after the signal object has been created.
You indicate that you get a log "with the signal" which may be true if the Log Configuration is set to be inherited from the object type, etc.
Perhaps the inherited log is incorrect and need to be replaced with a fresh & correct?
1. Describe how the log is created.
2. Check [Workplace Structure]Web System Workplace:System Event List for warnings
3. Perform a consistency check on the non-working, auto-created log.
What Stefan pointed was correct. "Log configuration" aspect is not intended for instantiation and will not work automatically when instantiated from object types.
You need to add a "Log Configuration" aspect after you create your new analog signal. If the number of anolog signals are more, take the help of Bulk Data Manager.
