MOD300 new loops loop load error, loops showing wrong configuration after loading
Hi,
We have a MOD300 system with 800xA 5.0.
We are experiencing a strange problem. We are trying to add new loops into the MOD300 system. If we use a previous backup from Feb the loops are loading fine and we can see them in MOD300 Engineering display. But if we use later backup March, April... the loop is shown with incorrect data.
We have tried diiferent combination but same result. Also restarted the PAS services.
We have also identified the modification after Feb, but they dont seem to make any difference.
Also minimised the system to just Engineering station and controller, but the issue repeatedly oocurs.
If you require further info please let me know.
Any help is greatly appriciated.
Thank you.

Hello,
If there is change in the database then we may need to restart all the MOD 300 nodes in the network..
is there any change in the database in comparsion with later backups..?
Which backup do you restored..is it FMS backup or ATF backup?
What was backup running in the controller and what backup u r restoring?
if there is diffrenece in backup version with respect to the database loaded in controller then these types of errors will come..in scuh case we may need to restart all MOD300 nodes in the network..

A “simple” top-down compile of the latest backup was not quite enough; we had to save an ATF of the entire database, delete the project, restart the engineering station, create a new (empty) project and then load the database ATF and compile and install. Finally, whatever corruption was present in the database or supporting tables has been eradicated and we can load our modifications successfully.
Is it valid to say the reference table was corrupted and the above steps fixed it??
