Harmony Connectivity Redundancy Problem 800xA 5.1 Rev-D
We are facing a redundancy issue at one of our client's plant. Two server machines are configured as redundant but unfortunately redundancy is not working properly only primary Config Connectivity sever is working but secondary connect server is not going online. I have performed following steps to trouble shoot the root cause but couldn’t find.
1.Tried complete system reinstall from Crash.
2.Tried Primary ICI swaping with secondary ICI.
3.Manually tried to subscribe database from redundant server in SQL .
4.Manually created the OPC & Event collector services.
Attached snap shots will give you a better understanding.
Our assumption is that both servers are not synced from network or something else therefore in control structure only one Primary server Tag is showing online and there is no data on secondary server tag.
I have observed from SQL Managemt Studio that Secondary server is not subscribing database from primary Server.
Note: RNRP is working fine in both servers data sharing is ok and receiving proper ping form each other servers.
Following are the details of the system.
OS: Win 2008 R2 (64 Bit)
800xA: 5.1 REV D
Two Server Machines
1- Primary Config Connectivity Aspect Server
2 Secondary Connectivity Server
& 4 Clients.
I hope you will suggest a better way to troubleshoot this issue.
Hi Syed, This is not an ideal forum for torubleshooting your system. Please raise a full case with Supportline to help out, as this sort of problem can be anything.
One thing I guess comes to mind: the system was running OK for sometime, yes? If so what happened to change this situation? If you can find this out, it might give you a clue as to the reason and therefore a resolution.
