Trendserver and time-synchronisation
Hello,
I have sever problems with my trendserver and time-synchronisation after
uppgrading to Freelance 2016SP1 RU1 and f-ng W10.
In ver 9.1 and W7 the trendserver worked perfect.
If I try to adjust the clock in the CPU that is timeprovider the PC is forcing
the CPU-clock back again.
I have turned off the internet-synchronisation on the PC.
The trendserver is running OK and the tunneling is running but most
of the time no trenddata is transfered.
Sometimes, when I fiddel with clock adjustment on the CPU and PC,
the time is aligned and the the trend is receiving data.
The odd thing is that even the trend in the debug window does not work
when the clock´s are different.
It never happens that another PC then the one where the trendserver is installed,
gets any trend-data.
I can reach variable-list from all connected PC in order to do a user defined
trend, but there will be no data.
Anybody who knows anything about this, please help me.
Best regards

Hello Tore,
do you use an administrstor account for your Freelance System?
User who operates should have no admin rights.
Please read the installation guide.
if the time on a history server goes backwards then you will experience issues with saving new data.
check where the PC is getting its time from - use W32TM command in dos and run the /query option. See the help for commands.
also you could have an unstable clock somewhere. Happened to me that i was syncing with a good time source but the server was shifting time in between time syncs and messing up logs and midnight reports.
