How is an error log viewed in an AC800F controller after it has been powered down/up?
The failure lamp lit on the RH (see photo) unit and it ceased to communicate with the clients et al. Base unit 3BDH000530R1 AC 800F - 16MB PM 803F
The customer powered it down/up - it has restarted and behaved itself since.
Can any AC800F controller errors be retrieved from the unit after the power down/up?
Clearly the customer would like to know the rason why so that the risk of it happening again can be assessed.
It has a battery backup unit as can be seen from the photo.

You can use AC800F web interface - go to engineering or operator station (or any PC connected to system network), open any kind of web browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox...) and type the IP address of affected process station into the address field. You will get a diagnostic view of the station. Go to "Diagnosis" (it's a button on the left side of web interface) and scroll down to event history (or choose "Event History" button on the left side). Here You can see all recorded events. You may also save this log to file ("Write to File" button) and send it to Tech support for more information.
Hope this helps,
