Tool Routing Service for AC 800M
Does anyone experience tool routing service (TRS) for AC800M stop and won't running anymore? I have problem on fieldbus management for Hart, before it was running fine, I can enable and disable communication and hart devices was online. But suddenly yesterday I cannot enable communication on fieldbus management aspect anymore (there is no option to enable). After I checked the system, I found that the tool routing service is stop, in normal condition tool routing service will start when i access device management aspect. Start tool routing service manually from tool routing panel didnt help, service is running but communication enable function is missing. I guest the TRS service stop since I performed FBBlibwizard to import one of third party DTM. System 800xA SV6.0.3.

To enable communication for a field device with a (Device Type Manager) DTM, an additional setting must be made for each AC 800M controller in Plant Explorer Control Structure.
In order that field devices can be accessed with DTM via the AC 800M controller, the communication path (Tool Routing) must be enabled in each controller.
In 800xA system, communication with field devices through DTMs is possible, only when Tool Routing is enabled.
Tool Routing is disabled by default. In order to activate it, the processor module of the AC 800M controller, e.g. PM860/TP860, is selected in Control Structure.
The Control Properties aspect appears in the aspect window. Select the aspect to open an overview of the various properties of the module in the main Plant Explorer window. One of the property entries is TOOLROUTING.
Set this Property Valueto Enabled and click Apply.
Increase TOOLROUTINGNBRCON to 50, if more than 20 HART and PROFIBUS devices containing a DTM are placed below the connected AC 800M controller.
