800xA Audit Trail - Failed logins
System 800xA uses Microsoft Windows authentication. I.e. the password typed after CTRL-ALT-DEL is passed to Windows, not 800xA.
Failed attempts can be viewed in Windows Event Log, Security section if proper audit has been enabled in Windows Security policy.
Starting with Windows 7 you can have a script or program launched at any Windows Event - so in theory you could create a script that calls a snippet of ABB Aspect Automation code which inject an event into some event category. Sorry, no examples.
You can use Advanced windows Audit functionality to acheive this. For deatiled procedure on how to do it, Refers "Windows Audit Function" Section in 800xA Administration and Security Manual.
In 800xA, you can audit only "Re-Authentication" and "Double Authentication" for changes in process values but im not sure if there is any procedure to audit windows login.
