Freelance v8.2 Redundancy problem or DLM02
I am installing a process station to perform communication test, I have 1xDRA02, 1xDLM02, 2xDCP10.
The switch of the DLM02 module is set to 0, that of the two DCP10 are set to 0 and 1 respectively, I have configured the IP adresses of the two controller via Diag connection, both controller are accesible via browser connection.
I get a flashing orange status LED from module DLM02 and I see no description for that in the manual.
I went through the initialize all/bootstrap and I got only one controller running, status "Running, no redundancy", after /load whole station, I get "running, no secondary". Furthermore in the HW structure (commissioning) both the DLM and the CPU not running are shown as "module not present". I changed CPU position, switch and IP accordingly but nothing change. If the CPU in position 1 start earlier than the one in position 0, become the only one running and the other one is reported as "not present".
one question, you say that the address switch is put to 0 on one of the CPU and on 1 on the other and the you have adressed via diagnos connection.
But, the switch must be put on 0 on a CPU that is to be adressed via diagnos connection.
Could this be the problem?
When you set the coding switch of one DCP10 to 1, that means that the IP address is 172.16.1.1, regardless if you previously had set the swicth to 0 and configured a different IP address. The other DCP10 with the switch set to 0 will have your configured IP address. I guess that now with one DCP10 set t0 0 and the other to 1 the redundant CPU's are in different subnets and the redundancy will not work.
If you want to setup different IP addresses for both DCP10, the set both CPU switches to 0 and keep them there.
Hope that helps
