Scheduling report, Maintenance Backup and server redundancy not working
In one of our client site 800xA 5.1 FP1 is installed with AC 800 M Connect & PLC Connect where I have experiencing some issues
1)I'm not able to take maintenance backup. From maintenance structure I tried to take full backup but it open the popup and shows waiting and not proceding any more.
All the services are healthy, I tried with creating new service group & service provider and change the backup path but same result. Also tried from redundent ASCS server but same result.
2) In schedule structure, report schedule is not working. Whenever I tried to make a manual schedule Via run now option, workplace getting corrupted. Schedule services are in healthy condition.
3) if any changes done in primary ASCS is effecting the redundancy of the system (means when ever i close primary, secondary is not taking over). Every time I need to copy the OPC file to secondary ASCS and make OPC server healthy for make the system redundant.
Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue.
Here You have two queries:
1.Waiting in manitanance Backup:
Generally this occurs when you abort the backup while its running so what you do is restart the backup service group & then try running the backup again.
2.OPC server is not switching over when you switch over the server.
Here the problem looks like the user problem in Secondary ASCS so please ensure the user(800xAservice account) configured for secondary ASCS server in the local services-mms server & OPC server for AC800M should have same account as like in Primary ASCS if not please run with this user(right click the services(mms server & OPC server for AC800M) -properties-browse the 800xAservice account with password) & restart the mms
(caution:restarting the mms will restart the OPC server also) then check again the redundancy.
Your system seem affected by several critical problems and in need of professional healthcare.
